Whether you’re a current, former, or soon-to-be resident or a family member, we’d love to hear from you!
Sunapee Cove is immaculate and attractive. The location is right on the edge of a beautiful lake. Everything is very neat and clean. The staff member who assisted us was very professional, knowledgeable, and very empathetic. We were very impressed with her. The dining area was very neat and attractive.
Sunapee Cove was very nice. The staff was cordial and greeted us. We had lunch in their dining room, and they sat with us and chatted about what we need. We saw a really nice two-bedroom, one-bathroom unit that was one of their bigger units facing the lake, which was beautiful. They’re expanding and putting in a memory care unit. They have a lot of concerts where they invite people to play for the residents.
I am a relative of a resident. I believe that the ED, the DON and all the staff at the Cove show compassion and genuine caring for the residents. The warmth and passion for seniors is a hard quality to find in Assisted Living. I highly recommend this facility. (Thanks Pudge and Lisa for your hearts).
We are now at Sunapee Cove. We like it very much. We like the staff first, second is our large apartment and the view, and also the friendliness of everyone. We are very happy here. We have a large apartment overlooking the cove. We have three gourmet meals a day, and they’re very, very good. The staff is very good. We have superb, very good, skilled care. They are very helpful and skilled. They couldn’t be better. Every day there are activities. We have services, singing, card games, and people come from the community and give lectures. They give us a shuttle ride back and forth to the doctors. Yesterday, we went down to the harbor for picnic, and we walked in the afternoon. It was lovely.
My Dad was one of the first residents at Sunapee Cove. He had just lost the love of his life and it was a very tough adjustment for him. The Nursing Staff was exceptional in there care and concern for his adjustment to his new life. Dad just recently passed away after living at SC for 4 years. He lived through many changes at the Cove but always had great care. It’s not easy being a single man where there are a great number of woman and several couples but the staff always made him feel “at home”. There were so many activities and outings that he could participate in. Once they went apple picking then came home and made pies! He loved getting dressed up for the Halloween party and was always looking for a dancing partner!
Our family could not have found a better place for Dad to live. He spent many years on Lake Sunapee and his room overlooked the Lake. Did I mention the food! I loved eating there myself! Always good choices and always willing to take suggestions. Everyone who worked at Sunapee Cove became my Dad’s family and we couldn’t ask for anything more.
The Sunapee Cove staff was very attentive and helpful staff during my father’s 2+ years there. They were all very accommodating as his needs changed over time, and he was quite happy with his care at SC till the end. The staff and nurses also kept his family well informed of his health issues. If my mother ever agrees to go to assisted living, this would be my first choice in the area (we had scouted several other facilities before my father became a resident).
